In science we have been learning about our senses and how different experiences can effect our emotions. We discovered that a soft warm blanket on our skin can help to make us feel calm.
Today we have been thinking about sight and how what we look at can change our mood. We discussed different landscape pictures and how they made us feel. We also talked about mindfulness. Can your child remember what this is? We went out and did some cloud spotting to practice our mindfulness. We also have a new feelings chart in the classroom. When we came back inside everyone now felt happy or calm.
