This week’s new funky fingers activities include stretching bands over tins, placing buttons on dinosaurs, giving cardboard tube hair cuts and screwing nuts onto bolts.
Don’t forget it’s our Stay and Play on Wednesday 9th October where you can stay at drop off time and join in with some of these activities with your child.
Today we started our daily dough gym session. Dough gym is a short activity that we take part in every day to strengthen our fine motor skills to prepare us to be writers. The activities focus on using our pincer grip to move objects, cut, peg and manipulate play dough. It’s a lot of fun, especially when we do it to our favourite songs!
